"Let it be known this day forward, Buddychristo of Northshire Abbey as a crusader of the light", Father Simon preaches loudly at the end of the Lightbringer Induction Ceremony. Buddychristo bows down graciously before the members of the clergy and guards in the front courtyard of the Abbey.

"And now let the celebration begin" a voice shouts from the middle of the crowd.

Minstrels pick up their mandolyns and begin to play, while the monks wheel out concessions. Buddychristo is stricken by the upbeat mood and begins to dance. It is not long before the entire party is dancing to the tune being played. After much food and drink the newly inducted Preist finds a seat by the fire to rest.

Buddy looks over to see Father Simon slumped over a fence post. He jumps up to get a closer look at the mans twitching body. Buddy turns the Father's body aside and is horrified by the sight of the his face. It had been rotted away and is now festering, revealing a dark skull. The beast jumps to attention and screams as his flesh sloughs off the bone.

"Its the sign of the scourdge!" Two fully armored guards charge at this ghoulish foe. A dark weave emits from the skeletons hands, the guards scream as their skin burns away. The voices of human screams morph to laughs of a demon in seconds.

Buddy is knocked on the ground forcing him to crawl as a last attempt at escape, and is met by a sword accross his side from his foes. The skin begins to burn where the blade had struck him. He turns in rage and releases a weave of light at his hands, which quickly fades to
black.

For an instant Buddychristo goes blind, then sees himself lying on the ground. His mind is in panic, with no time to investigate, he stops all movement within the posessed being. Two of the three ghouls continue their attack, as the third ghoul spins and slices through the other undead guard's body.

Buddy then has another moment of blindness, finding he is
back in his body watching the slayed beast fall "dead". He jumps to his feet and runs back towards the Abbey......
